I’m not much of a festival guy, but I’ve always paid attention to this one and it seems pretty doable. Its being free is quite helpful in this regard because you don’t feel like you have to be there from ten in the morning until god knows when like you would or at least I would at ACL or Jazzfest or whatever.
I noticed that one of the recommended buses is the 5, which I remembered ran down McAllister, the street an old girlfriend of mine lived on. Those kooks had electric powered buses 25 years ago, quiet and clean. I don’t know why they don’t want smoke belching behemoths like you’d get in a real city.
