Well itâs still the Astrosâ fault because Carlos Beltran was one of the main cheaters and went on to be in the Yankees front office that year. Had he not have learned how to cheat in Houston, the Yankees wouldnât have cheated. So, the Yankees shouldnât be punished. Plus it would look bad if they were punished.

They havenât said specifically to Kelly, but generally, no, suspensions do not carry over from one year to another.
This was a bad idea from the start, and Manfred is only going to get more egg on his face the longer this charade goes on.
Tonight, 20% of MLB teams are not even playing due to COVID-19 outbreaks (Phillies, Marlins, Nationals, Cardinals, Brewers, Blue Jays). The season is a farce, and itâs putting a everyone on MLB teams at risk for no good reason.
