So weird, right?
“On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” was written over 60 years ago, and it was the same “Her”.
Curious, what makes you say this?
The gold standard for low cost, high value tactical fighter has historically been the F-16. The latest block 70/72 units sell for between $60 and $70 million per unit, but the price goes down for larger quantity orders. The kicker there is the yearly O&M costs of just under $8 million a year.
The F-35 cost between $70 and $109 million per unit, again with cheaper prices for larger orders. The yearly O&M is $6 million per unit. But, the big differentiator is fuel costs are half of F-16 costs. Not to mention the F-35 has a sharply higher performance envelope in every measure and much higher survivability. Because of the cheaper O&M and the lower fuel costs, it is generally understood that the F 35 hits cost neutrality at year three and every year after that is a net-negative overall cost.
Edited to add: the $25 million price tag for an F-16 when production units were first shipped to the Air Force in 1978 is equivalent to $97 million in today dollars. While the capabilities of tactical fighters continue to skyrocket, the normalized cost per unit and especially the ongoing operations and maintenance are trending down.
He’ll be Prince Charles til the day he dies, imo. My brain will never update that.
He knows that too, and it (hopefully) pisses him off.
This is peak 2025 right here:
Undeterred by Wife’s argument that the order (which appears to have been prepared by Husband’s attorney, Diana Lynch) is “void on its face” because it relies on two non-existent cases, Husband cites to 11 additional cites in response that are either hallucinated or have nothing to do with the propositions for which they are cited. Appellee’s Brief further adds insult to injury by requesting “Attorney’s Fees on Appeal” and supports this “request” with one of the new hallucinated cases.
This is America. We don’t use pronouns anymore.
