Roster Moves 2025

That’ll be fun. Throws 91, not a standout strikeout rate, but phenomenal early numbers in Sugar Land in every other way. I wonder what they’ve had him working on. He’s an interesting reclamation project.

Whitley activated (until he gets a hangnail or something), Walter sent down

I didn’t watch last night’s game, but it seemed like Walter did a respectable job. It seems like his starts will always be kind of suspenseful since his lack of velocity means that the batter has to help get himself out, but maybe he can pull it off.

Ronel Blanco reported elbow soreness two days ago and flew back to Houston to be evaluated, Joe Espada said. He is seeing doctors today.

On the radio this morning Brown said the team will provide an update on Blanco this afternoon, but that they’re hoping for the best.

TJS presumably the best case scenario; realistically, we’re looking at full amputation.

I doubt they’ll stop with the elbow.

Didn’t they say a week ago that Yordan was a day or two away from being activated?

I think you misheard. It was “amputated”.

Today’s update from Tags:

Joe Espada: “He continues to progress. He ran, he hit, he’s doing all the baseball activities. Waiting for… Once he feels like he’s ready to go, we’ll get him in there.”

Is this a quote about Tucker from last year, or Yordan?
