Having the best player on the planet makes up for a lot though.

A buddy of mine took his family to see the Spurs play the Nuggets.
“See that big slow white guy? He’ll peobably end up with 30 points.”
Puzzled looks on their faces.
He scored 46.

Things were a bit different
But his vision and passing are other-worldly. I’m not convinced things would be all that different. And I’m a huge fan of 70’s NBA players.

I looked up the Denver/LAC box score.
Harden played 35 minutes and scored 7 points.
This makes me so happy. The fact he helped torpedoed the Clippers in doing it makes me even happier.

I have no desire to ever start gambling on sports, but it sure is hard to stay away from “you mean I get to bet against James Harden in a game 7??”
