Did I ever mention that I was awarded a Kerr Scholarship as in Malcolm Kerr as in Steve Kerr’s father?
I was a Finalist for a Jefferson Scholarship, as in Thomas Jefferson, as in Martha Hemming’s father?
In other Game 7 news: Denver is beating the hell out of the LA Clippers, and I love it
I really don’t understand why this series has gone 7 games. Denver should have crushed these guys.
Kawhi Leonard finally got healthy, but Harden continues to do Harden things.
Denver is a mess.
Having the best player on the planet makes up for a lot though.
The things that Jokic does are baffling. And I say that as a guy that played organized basketball for 35 years.
One game at a time
A buddy of mine took his family to see the Spurs play the Nuggets.
“See that big slow white guy? He’ll peobably end up with 30 points.”
Puzzled looks on their faces.
He scored 46.
That “big slow white guy” never played against the 70-90’s Centers
Things were a bit different
But his vision and passing are other-worldly. I’m not convinced things would be all that different. And I’m a huge fan of 70’s NBA players.
There was nobody like him back then.
There is nobody like Hakeem now either.
It’s one of those unanswerable questions
I looked up the Denver/LAC box score.
Harden played 35 minutes and scored 7 points.
This makes me so happy. The fact he helped torpedoed the Clippers in doing it makes me even happier.
I have no desire to ever start gambling on sports, but it sure is hard to stay away from “you mean I get to bet against James Harden in a game 7??”
James Harden has lost 4 Game 7’s with 4 different teams.
The first response in that thread…
It’s absolutely classic that, in response to a post about how a future debate will be on fire, people start having that future debate.
