What happened was Lance walked someone and then a regular single to right got past an oddly positioned Cam Smith and the runner scored easily from first.

Maybe it wouldn’t be so glaring if there weren’t so, so many guys the team needs to produce who are badly underperforming. I know it’s early and it’s not quite as simple to pick up spare major league talent for nothing, but Brown needs to find a major league outfielder somewhere.
