Mancini and Vazquez should get their first at bats with the Astros this inning.

Houck still pitching

Mancini pinch hits.

Slider way outside. Grounds out 5-3.

Vazquez pibch hits.

FB inside. Slider catches the bottom of the zone. FbB away 2-1, swings over a slider 2-2, grounds a slider out 4-3.

Damnit.

Pathetic.

What a fucking bummer.

Altuve slider low, FB at the top of the zone, FB away 2-1, F8 a few feet shy of the track.

Astros lose 2-1.

Javier deserved better.

So frustrating to lose two games giving up five runs total. The offense needs to wake up.

Shades of April

I hate to think of the ass whooping the Blue Jays would put on us.

Tucker needs to get back on track. He’s now hitting below .240, and he had a rough July.

I’m not too sure the transitive property of baseball scores is a real thing

These 2 games sure sucked though.

2 on, no outs and he cannot come close to putting a ball in play.

In fact strikes out on a pitch at his chin.

BBGs have a way of making sure players in slumps come up in the crucial situations.

Tucker, Meyers and Pena have been in pretty serious slumps for a while.

Nice to see Pena go the other way a couple of times tonight

Yeah, the Astros pitching would never fold up like Boston did against Toronto. Unfortunately the offense would still probably be insufficient.

Look on the bright side, the Stros have the best record in MLB against teams >.500

Boston is now 1 game over .500, and then we go to Cleveland. It’s all about to turn around.

Did I just hear on the postgame the good guys have lost 6 of their last 9?
Schiesse.

We lost to a guy named Kutter.
Sumbitch.

This offense is next level bad. Manicini and Vazquez are solid pieces, but I’m not sure they’re enough to fix this.
