I’m happy for the win, but I don’t like the fact that the Rangers are probably reinvigorated.
Play in RF by Cam was both fantastic and almost disastrous at the same time. Big W again tonight.
Yeah, I know he wants to make a play there but that’s one you just get behind it and let it bounce
Another “she put a bag on my head”/“still counts!” win.
The Astros won the series and have a chance to sweep tomorrow. That’s what matters.
It would be great if the Astros could find some invigoration. They will definitely need it down the stretch.
That was a really back breaking loss for the Rangers. They needed that game badly. Glad we could hang on.
I don’t know what this means but have enough sense not to google it.
I’d say they are pretty invigorated in the first two games of this home stand. Especially after losing Yordan in the first inning last night.
The bullpen is a gigantic dumpster fire right now due to injuries. Guys like De Los Santos and Kimbrel have no business being in the roles they currently have, but Espada’s options are limited.
Went to a White Sox game tonight, by the way. I met a friend from Baltimore (they were playing the Orioles) and it was a good time. The stadium is not the greatest I’ve ever visited but does not suck in any way. Oh, $5 beer tonight, too.
They’re being held together by duct tape and baling wire, that’s for sure.
I don’t even care that the game went from a snooze to a nail biter. It’s the fucking shit ass walks in big situations that are killers. Walking Rowdy Tellez’s enormous ass when he hasn’t come close to good contact is unfuckingforgivable.
It’s the baseball equivalent to stopping to talk to that nice clown living in the sewer.
De Loos Santos has been very good.
Yes, he has, which is why I wasn’t completely pissed off after the 2 out walk, and subsequent 2 run bomb. But then the inning just kept going and that wasn’t good. He just couldn’t get the last out needed. Anyhow, 3.24 ERA since joining the Astros and that’s after the 4 runs he gave up last night. And yesterday was his 3rd day pitching in 4 days. Team is going to have to count on him and now Murray the rest of the way. I’m still hoping we get one of Sousa, Hadar or Ort back for the extra innings portion of the season should we be fortunate enough to participate.
