The fact the Astros have not A) called Loperfido up and given him a shot at 1B or B) signed someone like Brandon Belt or Donovan Solano is completely on Brown, and I agree it’s inexcusable.

I also think letting Stanek leave for what amounted to a 4M annual salary in Seattle was a mistake. They needed him for bullpen depth, and he was cheap.
