Dodger fans MURDERED an opposing fan a few years ago. Astros fans are in much more jeopardy than the players. I’ve done an Astros roadie for at least 10 years in a row, have no plans to make one this season.

I’d think batteries and bottles and bullshit from the stands will be en vogue, and not just during LA/SF games anymore. We live in an incredibly stupid time, they’ll probably post their criminality to the internet within an inning.
I have minimal faith, but I’d hope MLB comes down hard on teams that allow this to happen repeatedly, not just the individual fans.
MLBPA may force the issue wrt to player safety. Manafort wants the game to speed up? How fast will games be when the Stros have to retreat to the dugout for 30 minutes during every road game?
eta: you couldn’t pay me to go to a road game in certain stadiums while wearing Stros gear.

Don’t expect Crane to speak up demanding equitable firm punishment for Boston. Crane, like most of the 0.01%, is a hardcore Socialist, with the lion’s share of his money arriving as part of an equally-shared pool rather than earned in any zero-sum-game. Crane is long the MLB TV contract so he is long the image of MLB so he is long the scandal being contained to his team only so he is long Boston walking away scot-free, with the high TV ratings of BOS-NYY completing the circle (jerk).
