After 5 innings and 2 solo shots, the Mets lead the Phillies 2-0 in Queens.
Mets plate two more…4-0, still batting in the 6th
I wonder what it’s like to root for a team that gets hits with runners in scoring position while playing at home.

I’m rooting for the Padres/Tigers. Then the Tigers. Seeing the Yankees, Dodgers, Phillies, and Mets get knocked out would be my ideal Postseason at this point.

I’m also rooting for the Pads and the Tigers, The Padres are the oldest expansion team to have never won a World Series. Actually tied with the Brewers if you count the Pilots. Of course the Guardians own the longest current WS drought. But I’m still pulling for the Tigers.

I don’t have any real problem with the Phillies. Padres, Phillies, I’m ok either way. Obviously you root for the Tigers and the Royals. I don’t have a huge preference there, Tigers because of AJ probably.

Guardians, Royals, Padres, and Tigers, I’m cool with
I really like this Padres team so I am rooting for them overall.
If Cleveland gets past the Tigers, they become the AL team I root for. I admire what KC is able to do and I definitely want them to beat the Yankees but I’m not interested in them winning the WS. I still am holding 2015 against them.
I’m still holding 1986 against the Mets but being in the AL has reduced my hate for them quite a bit.
