Postseason 2024

The worst part is, no matter who wins, their idiot manager will be declared a genius for taking a rag tag team of scrappy underdogs, who nobody gave a chance to win, to hereto unforseen heights through sheer guts, determination, and belief in themselves when everyone else wrote them off.

Aaron Boone is the only reason I would even think about them getting beat. That’s how white-hot my Dodger hate is.

No, no, no, we want them keep Roberts.

They win the Series, Roberts is pretty much a lock for the Hall of Fame. Think about that.

Do I have to?

Yes. Let it burn.

I would settle for the Dodgers going up 3-0 and then losing, just to bookend Roberts’s career.

See, I like the way you think.

Sounds like Kirby Smart yesterday and today.

I’m gonna keep going. You know, I can deal with cocky asshats winning. It happens all the time. My issue is with entitled, whiney fucks who think that somehow they were denied something that they felt was theirs. Like the Eagles when the Bucs smoked them in Philly to tear down the Vet. The Dodgers can just keep trying and trying until they’re humble enough to realize they got beat. Period.

I’m not sure what the exact grievances are (I’m sure I share many), but please carry on with this very entertaining conversation.

I’m struggling to find a reason to care about the next postseason series. Cuz, it’s like, the World Series.

I’d be lying if I said I’m not going to watch it. It’s still baseball season, and I watch baseball during baseball season.

I see no other choice. Fuck the Dodgers.

Indeed.

In their smelly pirate hooker mouths.

I wish Tommy Lasorda was still alive so I could kick him in the nuts.

So, about Ohtani. I find it hard to root for singular players in this team sport. Yes, he’s amazing and I feel fortunate to be watching him play but that doesn’t transcend the team aspect of the game. In a way, I enjoyed watching him more as an Angel and struggling along with the rest of the team. He really should have made a difference on that team and it’s a shame he never really did.

Let’s not bring STDs into this.
