I think he starts with the famous Scully quotation about in the year of the improbable, the impossible has happened, and so on.
It is a uniquely bad commercial.

ESPN buffoonery directed at their universal horrible outcome.
I wonder what the fuck this idiot thinks happens every other year. Yes, of course, typically only teams with winning regular season records make the post season, but can he possibly really believe that the best team in baseball always wins the WS? I guess he can.
Last year after the LDS round, the best team in baseball was widely acknowledged to be the Houston Astros.
Their odds to win the WS: 33%.
Take the field over any individual team.
I keep reading this sentence:
And I keep laughing.
The playoffs needed to be expanded because 60 isnāt enough games to truly judge a major league baseball team. The Nationals record after 60 games last year was 27-33. I bet almost every playoff team for the past 30 years has a 60 game stretch that was mediocre and many probably even had bad stretches. Obviously we know the Astros were 15-30 (25-35 after 60) to start the 2005 season, etc.
Any whining about our record over 60 games is just thatā¦whining. 60 games is just the best MLB (apparently) could do for a regular season, so this is what they decided to do rather than have potentially good teams get eliminated early. (Nevermind the fact that there were also essentially 3 separate Major Leagues this yearā¦East, Central, and West Leagues.)
The Yankees wouldnāt have made a normal playoff slate this year either, but Iām sure the articles about that outrage are just getting lost in the dark web.
I would suspect his response would beā¦ BACKBACAKBACKBACKBACK.
Yea, it was a very bad impersonation but it was definitely supposed to be Scully. I caught it right away.
Iām sorry that you brain works in such a way that you associated that in any way with Vin Scully.

Nice overview of Astrosā 1st five playoff games against two division champs, after a horrendous (8-16) finish to the āregular seasonā .
Ji-Man is flashing the glove, bailing out his teammates.
I really want Cole to lose.
Walk one in, Gerrit.
Swing the bat, dude.
Not scoring with Cole on the ropes early could come back to haunt the Rays.
Guy is throwing 100 with two days rest. Wow.
Cole is firing darts too. What a match up.
and they were teammates on the Pirates.
Cole found his way in the 2nd.
Glasnow is throwing hard, but his pitches are up. That tells me heās a little tired.
Glasnow is done. Good job. All hands on deck!
