They don’t give away all of the achievements Tiger has accomplished on the golf course. He’s absolutely one of the greatest athletes we have seen or ever will see.
I’ve got it on good authority that Trump is only a 9 handicap.
They don’t give away any achievements. Well, unless you’re a member of the Royal Family.
I hear summer league nba is giving out awards this year so maybe they do give away achievements these days. But it’s safe to say Tiger earned all of his. Golf isn’t easy.
Football, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, boxing, sprinting, swimming…etc aren’t easy either. What’s your point?
Simone Biles politely taps your shoulder.
My point is Tiger is one of the greatest athletes we have ever seen. I agree with MusicMan. He’s in the top 4 in the last 25 years.
All of those people are among the greatest athletes you’ve ever seen. I don’t consider Tiger to be in the top 4. That doesn’t mean I think golf is easy.
Tiger is an exceptional golfer, who could’ve rewritten the record books had he kept his dick in his pants and his pedal off the metal. As it turns out, he’s going to end his career 2nd to Nicklaus in majors won.
But golf itself is hardly an athletic pursuit, and I do not consider him to be in the top 10, let alone top 4, of athletes of the last 25 years.
Now I am all hungry.
A tough exclusion, to be sure.
I’m not a golfer, but saying it isn’t an athletic pursuit is crazy talk.
Y’all see Daly sink that long eagle putt in his bright orange Hooters pants? I bet he’s a beast at shuffleboard.
I love this. Just because you can do it, doesn’t mean it isn’t an athletic pursuit.
If it’s in the olympics, it’s clearly an athletic pursuit. Even the ice dancing.
I stand corrected. Golf does qualify asan athletic pursuit because you do actually have to put down your beer to make a shot.
Do you consider a full-time designated hitter in major league baseball an “athletic pursuit”?
Asked and answered, sir: you have to put down your beer.
There’s a reason Daly has won 5 pga events and Tiger has won 82. Tiger was the best in his sport from the late 90’s to about 2014. Just like all sports, it takes a different set of skills. It takes strength, stamina, great hand-eye coordination and consistency. You can’t have a bad day and win a tournament. Tiger was elite for many years. I don’t agree with Limey on hardly anything but he is right in that Tiger had the ability to shatter every golfing record had he not have let his personal life get in the way.
I don’t agree with DWard on nearly anything but his Tiger post closely mirror my sentiments on him.
