Liverpool has gone for an almost completely alternative starting XI.
Palace has rotated about half the starters (because we don’t have the depth to do more), including a well-earned start for Eddie ScouseBane Nketiah.
I hope Rio gets a lot of playing time.
I only just now paid attention to the Liverpool bench. It’s entirely kids, so there are no reinforcements if it goes wrong for them.

Thankfully, the Carabao Cup and Europa Conference League games are all on Paramount+, so it’s only that and Peacock for now. I think the FA Cup - which starts in early January - was on ESPN last season.
