Because there’s too much serious stuff going on in the other thread right now:
#ETTD
As I have said before, by the time we get here I’m not sure anyone will be coming.
Red Bull has today announced that Lawson is out and Tsunoda is promoted into the career shredder that is the 2nd Red Bull seat.
I can’t even begin to comprehend the amount of lube required for such an endeavor.
…or being the 101st guy.
“Is there any tread left on those tires or is this like a hotdog-down-a hallway situation?”
Funny but not true. Just a real good troll job.
Dammit.
English soccer returns this weekend, but the EPL take a pause while the FA Cup plays out its quarterfinals: two Saturday and two Sunday.
Saturday kicks off with Fulham vs. Palace, which could be a cracker between two well-matched teams. Later Brighton host Forest in the “I hope the asteroid comes” match of the round.
Sunday has the last non-Premier League survivor - Preston North End - hosting Aston Villa with there being hopes of an upset and the round is…erm…rounded out with Bournemouth vs. Citeh.
The trophy is truly up for grabs for any of these teams not named Preston, and even they have a puncher’s chance. As before, all ties are settled on the day with extra time and penalties as necessary. The four successful teams get a day out at Wembley for the semi-finals, which is a terrible contrivance born of greed and laziness (Wembley should be reserved for the final).
The FA Cup is a stupid competition anyway
Glasner built this team in a lab to win on the road.
I said it when the draw happened, Palace had the advantage here. Fulham have been much better away from home as well.
Chris Richards’ head has been the dominant force in the second half so far, both defensively and follicly.
I should have stayed in bed
Sorry mate. You ran into a buzz saw. We have been on a white hot streak home and away, but have been utterly dominant away.
Last away goal conceded was back in December.
Eze was great for the first goal, that second though… atrocious defending, once that goes in it’s a mountain to climb. Oh well, the league is still in front of them but it’s a pretty brutal schedule to close out the season
Good luck in semis Limey
The second goal was so casual it took until the replay for me to understand what had happened.
