Reminds me of my days working at Hungry’s on Memorial
For the same reason that the Cowboys continue to get the 3pm slot on Sundays.
So Palace is the forever Texans early game?
The only time we get a prime time slot is when they think the other team is on for an easy win.
The only thing interesting about this game is watching Onana, who is teetering on the brink of a giant fuck up more than normal.
30 more minutes. Ugh.
If they ever get there. They’re trying to give United every possible chance to win it in 45+ minutes of stoppage time.
Crystal Palace has reached the FA Cup final twice in its history; both times it faced a Man Utd side tottering on the brink of disaster. Both times the powers that be had such a giant thumb on the scale you could see it from space.
Palace has nothing to fear from this version of Utd either. But I’d hate to get them in the draw because I absolutely would not expect a fair fight.
Case in point: Fulham are breaking as the clock expires but Casimiro goes through the back of the legs of a Fulham player to kill the break. The referee blows the whistle and Casimiro turns to see if he’s getting yellow or a red, but the referee just ends the game.
Even the shootout is somehow boring.
That was putrid but I’ll take it
Thank you Leno
Correct result, though. If only barely.
Fulham v. Palace first two names out of the hat.
Bournemouth v. Citeh
Preston v. Villa
Shighton v. Forest/Ipswich
Weekend of March 29.
Fulham v Palace being at the Cottage favors your team the way Fulham have played at home and Palace have played away recently
I don’t think anyone wants to play Palace at home right now.
Millwall’s gotta Millwall.
Character assassination? Well, they got half of that right at least.
The hard cases in Millwall are upset about mean words being directed at their innocent little goalkeeper. Classic.
The Millwall goodwill tour continues with the news that they have banned the Daily Mail - yes, that Daily Mail - from their press events going forward.
The club explained that they did not appreciate the paper reporting - accurately - on Millwall fans chanting “let him die” at 25-stitch recipient JP Mateta.
This is fun. The Premier League “forgot” to factor in that Premier League clubs might be competing in the FA Cup quarterfinals over the weekend of March 29 when scheduling a full slate of Premier League games for the following week.
Short version: the FA Cup games typically are spread over the weekend - so the 29th and 30th - but multiple teams are slated to play EPL fixtures on April 1. Those EPL games will have to move, but they have already been dibsed for TV, which makes them very hard to move. It’s going to take a while to unbundle this particular fuck up.
