Well, Palace lead 1-0 at the half, but I wouldn’t say that they’ve distinguished themselves.

Agreed. It might’ve helped if Doncaster had paid their light bill.

The commentator needs to STFU about Muñoz. That wasn’t a red card offense. It was an ill-advised lunge that caught the Donny player, but Muñoz was not off his feet or out of control. Yellow card for sure. And it’s not Palace’s fault that there is no VAR.

That should shut them TF up.

Fuck these commentators. Bring on Millwall.

One thing I’ve noticed about Millwall supporters is that they are invariably lovely chaps.

Salt of the earth, they are. In and out of each other’s houses…with each other’s furniture…all day!

If by some miracle they ever make it back to the top flight, the police could save everyone a lot of time by showing up at a Millwall - Liverpool match and just rounding everybody up.

Fulham draw United at Old Trafford in the next round. I can’t wait for Fulham to dominate for 87 minutes without scoring and then lose to a dodgy penalty

Also last time Fulham went to Old Trafford in the FA Cup was March 2023. In that match, Mitrovic gave Fulham the lead at 50 minutes, United leveled it up at 75 and then Willian was sent off for handball denying a goal. Marco Silva was given a red for continuing to argue after VAR check, Mitrovic shoulder barged the ref to get himself sent off. So Fulham went from 1-0 up to 1-2 down and down to 9 men with no manager. Finished 3-1 United that day. That was the quarter finals. Hopefully this one goes better than that one did, I can’t imagine it being much worse.

You don’t want to get into a rage-off with Palace fans about playing Utd in the cup…

He should’ve sent off Smalling for being the last defender by 20 yards. Instead, he waited until Wickham got up to run unopposed at goal, then blew for the foul, then only booked Smalling. He allowed Smalling to get away with multiple murders thereafter before finally sending him off in extra time.

Clattenberg was seen joking around with Sir Alex Ferguson prior to the kick off, wherein Sir Alex feigned a bribe to the ref (Ferguson knew exactly what he was doing). Clattenberg also spent the entire game referring to Utd players by their first names and Palace players by their shirt numbers.

Not long after this corrupt disaster, Clattenberg left the English game to go ref in Saudi Arabia, as all fine, honest and upstanding individuals do. Fuck Mark Clattenberg until the end to time. And fuck Utd.

The rage I feel from that day is entirely placed on my own team. Willian being sent off was 100% the right call, he flung his arm up to stop a goal, though it might have hit him in the shoulder had he not. Silva was sent off for continuing to argue, which is how the rule is written. Mitro just completely lost his head. There was nothing “United” about it other than just them happening to be the other team. The United thing with Fulham is the nut punch late goal. Something like 4 of the last 6 Fulham/United matches, the winner is scored by United from the 80th minute on(twice in stoppage, I think). Usually against the run of play.

A shin ball for Mbappe? That should only count for half a goal.

Poor little Exeter. They took Nottingham Forest all the way to penalties after going down to 10 men (harshly, by some reports) just before the 90 minutes was up. Forest prevailed in the shoot-out. Shame.

That was quite the collapse by City in the last 5 minutes. They might want to work a bit on those passes out of the back.

Palace’s on-loan keeper had a mixed night for Exeter, but at least he wasn’t subbed off like Forest’s keeper.

The shin heard round the world.

I thought that was Kyle Tucker?

In a match between Brighton and Chelsea, who does Limey pull for? The weather?

The asteroid.

Well done Fulham.

Palace now take on Everton, against whom we never win and it sucks fucking shit. It’s at Selhurst too, where we have only 2 wins this season (vs. 5 on the road).

Everton had only 3 wins total before Moyes was brought back. One of those was against us. Fuck Everton.
