We took out Villa along the way, which makes me happy.
The cups are really fun when you manage to go deep. Fulham played in the Semis before losing to Liverpool last year. That run included taking down Spurs on penalties which was pretty fun
Red Bull has (finally) canned Perez and promoted Liam Lawson to the #2 seat. Lawson and Verstappen is going to be a fiery pairing.
Good grief, Spurs! Stop playing it back to this oaf!
This half is ridiculous. WTF
A real defensive clinic.
At least we know Spurs can create goals at will. They just need them to go in the right direction.
Carthage beats La Vega 28-14, for the Texas 4A D2 Championship.
I’ll be watching the 5AD2 game tonight (along with IU-ND), I know nothing about either team other than they’re #1 & #2 in the state in that division, and South Oak Cliff is somewhere around Dallas and Richmond is around Houston. Go Richmond.
Maybe Oak Cliff is an inner city neighborhood inside the actual city of Dallas?
ETA: According to Wikipedia, South Oak Cliff is part of Dallas ISD, and is mostly African American. It has missed the high school postseason only once in the last 25 years, and won state titles in 2021 and 2022. It’s produced 26 NFL players.
Cool, so somewhere around Dallas. I know next to nothing about their areas/neighborhoods.
I liked that on the opening kickoff Richmond faked a pitch back to their stud speedster (short kick to avoid him) and the guy who caught it ran it back for a TD
South Oak Cliff is akin to the Fourth Ward.
Of the teams in the DFW area, other than Aledo (West of Fort Worth) and Southlake (Grapevine), it’s usually the South Dallas and south of Dallas teams, South Oak Cliff, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Cedar Hill that are the most dominant of late… .
Man City must be getting to the point - as crazy as it sounds - of firing Pep. The team isn’t listening to him anymore, which happens even to the best of the best of coaches.
Makes me laugh when commentators describe a foul as not having any malice. My tackles all had malice.
Not trying to break a bone or anything, but doing what coaches call “letting ‘em know you’re there.” Leaving your opponent in a heap on the ground, having taken the ball first.
They’ll think twice before going for a 50/50 next time.
Chris Richards starting for Palace in our inevitable festive stuffing by Arsenal.
Sarr will tear you apart.
This is wide open. Feels like we will be treated to a 3-3 or 4-4 draw
Jesus fucking Christ
Good response by Palace. Arsenal hanging on a bit of late, literally and figuratively. Thankfully Hooper has taken his blinders off and has seen some of the former.
