Worst onside kick in history
I’ve been waiting for an onsides kick under the new rules, and that’s what I got. SMDH.
We only used it twice in HS that I remember, but the line up like regular kickoff and tell the kicker to blast it right at the center or L/R up guy…no way he’s ready or able to catch it, so we go pick up the rebound
I wonder if the kick recovery team is made up of different guys now that you to announce that it’s gonna be an onsides kick.
I’m not sure I’ve seen an "announced’ onside kick yet
Today’s was. It has to be.
I missed it then, I know the new rules and such
If you know the new rules, you know that the kicking team has to inform the officials and the receiving team of their intention to attempt an onsides kick. The receiving team lines up in a different place and you cannot kick it deep.
Craziness
This kept him from the SB last season.
With the number of kickbacks still high I propose every kick be an onsides kick.
Kick it from the near 40.
Yeah, either lose the kickoff altogether and just place the ball at the 25, or do onsides kicks all the time, or SOMETHING. The current situation is useless.
Right, I just missed watching it then
I did not know that rocking “Renegade” was a Steeler tradition
Then I guess I’m unclear as to which you referred to as the worst in history. Was it not the one the 49ers attempted today?
I experienced that when I went to a game there a few years ago. They went apeshit over that.
Sorry, I’m obviously a tad confused in one way or another. I’m sure I can make sense of it all, but just a bit later.
How drunk are you?
None drunk, thanks for checking on me though.
Like, Styx?
