NFL Regular Season 2024-2025

He’s been a terrific owner for himself.

As a former Cowboy fan, not of the delusional sort mind you, I’ve been waiting for the bus that will never come, that being JJ gets out of the way, hires a strong GM (never going to happen), who will in turn, hire a strong coach (Hah). I’m proud to have been fundamentally reborn in 2023 as a Texan fan, the team who I embrace now as much as the Cowboys of my childhood. But, beyond those warm feelings, my true allegiance is to any team that covers.

Tonight’s MNF between the Jets and Bills is one of the most flagged games that I have seen in a while. Over 204 penalty yards with time left. Also, the paint jobs on Troy and Joe are, well, out there.

Dan Campbell needs to learn to manage his testosterone; it clouds his judgement.

I missed it, what’d he do?

I’m guessing he’s referring to this:

I can’t imagine he’s referring to a dumber decision

Yeah, you’re 2 1/2 minutes into the game, and you’re willing to risk putting them behind the eight ball immediately. Maybe further down the field or later in the game, but there and then? Insane.

In rare “good news for the Browns” news…Watson has apparently blown out his Achilles

More time for massages.

I’m not sure he ever plays again, so he’s got plenty of time for those and plenty of cash for settling lawsuits

Watson had so much going for him and he trashed it for a few not so happy endings. Hell, he should have gone out with slutty football groupies.

I’m not sure I’ve ever been more wrong about an athlete than I was about Watson. Everything, literally everything, about him at Clemson was praising his character, leadership, etc…oops. He’s obviously a fucking sociopath

He’s a regular Robert Kraft.

Getting a massage is one thing, getting a rub and tug is another thing, assaulting a masseuse 35 times is a whole different thing.

I don’t disagree. What’s your point? That Kraft’s reputation as an upstanding citizen of high moral character is still firmly intact? That I will disagree with.

I have no clue about Robert Kraft’s reputation other than he got busted in a “massage parlor”

He was considered one of the NFL’s leading citizens. And he didn’t just go to a “massage parlor”, he was a regular facilitator of a human trafficking ring where kidnapped women were beaten and forced into sexual slavery.

Well that’s certainly more egregious

The particulars of Kraft’s case are far darker than just getting a rub and tug. And the point remains…rich men aren’t always what they seem because they can get away with a lot more than you or I can and have pretty good PR working for them.
