And my fantasy team just got a lot better.

Man, with Deandre Hopkins, I can’t see anyone beating the Chiefs.
He has been irrelevant for a couple of years now, and was buried like a turd in a sandbox in Tennessee. It’s amazing the spark of working with a top-notch QB can bring. I’ve never had him in any of my fantasy leagues, but I like it when things work out well for a player as this seems to have.
They flashed a graphic up earlier that he’s had more receiving yards than anyone since he entered the league in 2013. I would not have guessed that given who his QBs have been. But he is the definition of a “ball hawk”.
And I don’t get the “let’s not cover Travis Kelce and force him beat us” strategy. I never have.
Moving forward, KC seems to be off to the races.
They have a pretty clear path to the Super Bowl. It’ll take a monumental fuck up for them to screw it up. Which ain’t happening.
What gets me in watching a game like this is just passive the Texans defense is. The Bucs have played a really good game. It’s not enough to beat the Chiefs, of course, but they’ve played really well. Their defense has been good. Both teams bring pressure. They blitz. They make the QB get rid of the ball. The Texans just don’t.
The only AFC team that I can see giving them a scare is Buffalo, and they don’t have a good track record.
The Bills are a solid team, but unless Mahomes just completely stomps his dick, that ain’t happening. Their defense isn’t good enough.
