Still no decision on the new Pope of Greenwich.

Diddy has 784 problems…each one being a dildo that will be used in evidence against him.

Not that kind of use, Diddy.

Pretty excited to be going to see Adrian Belew’s BEAT tour tonight. He’s playing songs from the three King Crimson 80s albums, Discipline, Beat and Three of a Perfect Pair, with Steve Vai playing the role (i assume) of Fripp or maybe not. Belew and Vai on stage with Tony Levin and the drummer from Tool. Is there a more talented group of people touring today?

Has anyone been to the 713 Music Hall? We want to go to a show there but it looks like the only seats are on the second level, and the floor is SRO.

Thanks and I’ll hang up an listen.

I just looked at the lineup to try to guess who you might want to see and I have literally never heard of any of them save Morrissey and fuck that idiot.

So if it’s not that freak I’m going to guess that it’s A Boogie Wit da Hoodie.

I haven’t been but my friends who have say it’s the best venue in the city.

Nathaniel Rateliff puts on a good show

That’s as may be but I’m sticking with A Boogie Wit da Hoodie.

Oh! I’ve heard of Norah Jones. I don’t know how I missed her the first time.

It’s Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats. The floor wasn’t listed as SRO yesterday when i looked but it says so now, but tge seating is sold out. Too bad.
Thanks!

This guy’s fixin to play Madison Square Garden! I wonder what the hell I’m doing while other people are finding out about this sort of shit.

He’s an easy miss if you’re not listening to adult alternative radio.

Sirius has a channel called The Spectrum which can be really helpful for an old guy like me to be exposed to new rock. I listen to it a lot while working.

I listen to the Spectrum almost exclusively in my car when i’m not into my ipod or a podcast.

I have Apple Music which, in theory, gives me unfettered access to all the music. In practice, it riffs off what it knows I already like so it plays mostly artists it knows I like but will throw in new acts every once in a while.

Often times, though, I have no clue who the fuck I’m listening to so there’s no chance that I’d seek them out for a live gig.

New album from The Cure drops on Nov 1.

No, he doesn’t seem to be any cheerier.

One can always count on the first minute or more of any Cure song to be an instrumental build up. I like that approach.
