Marlins @ Astros, June 10, 2022

I have resisted all the talk about the lineup needing to be deeper.

This game really making it hard for me to stay in denial

Hopefully Meyers can help

Like Maldy’s decision to bunt. Probably best chance there but 8-9 spots have killed 2 rallies

But wait! There’s more!

Ok it’s not over. The bullpen is absolutely gettable.

Need 1 or 2 AT LEAST this inning though

Lopez takes a smash off the wrist, Brantley safe at 1B. Swelling looked bad, Lopez out. Blier, LHP, in for the Fish.

Marlins count themselves lucky that Yordan only singled

There’s no unlike button so you get a frowney-face emoji.

:unamused:

Yordan Alvarez is a steely-eyed missile man

It will always piss me off that the Marlins are 2-0 in WS competition. That alone makes me hate them.

I bet Jazz Chisholm got called Chazz Jizzum a lot in junior high. Thanks mom and dad…

The problem(s) with Yuli and Bregman isn’t whoever is batting 8th and 9th.

Goddammit Altuve. Ball 4 popup, 6 inches inside.

Brantley walks, Bregman up against the LHP. Bases juiced. Got Em Right Where We Want Em!

Pop Up Bregman

Remember when he was an actual offensive force?

I do but the memory is starting to fade.

I was hoping for a walk, as someone said the other day in a similar situation “probably the best possible outcome”

Oh bloody hell. Stros are 2-13 with RISP, Fish are 0-0 with 1 SF

Timing is everything, Tuck

Would you believe the Marlins have scored 12 more runs than the Astros this season entering tonight’s game? (246 to 234)

So far the Astros Play of the Game is by those fans who didn’t reach over the wall
