And another easy stolen base

His bat speed is down quite a bit year over year as well.

Despite that, he has six home runs in August and September. He was inches from another home run last night.

Oh, he came off the bag. Gotta challenge that

I hope Seattle keeps running at will against the Astros if only to expose the idiocy of the Astros’ strategy.

How the fuck do you not challenge that?

That requires Espada to do something.

Middle of four…3-0 still

Let’s get some runs!!!

The umpire…again

And…again. Blue is not helping our cause.

Frustrating to say the least. I feel like there is no hope.

I just want to know what it will take for Joe Espada to get tossed from a game. He should already have given tonight’s home-plate ump an earful.

Last night was one of the few times I’ve ever seen him animated with an umpire.

More situational hitting by the Mariners.

There’s obviously some stat geek thing that the team has used to conclude that holding runners on is a waste of time. Who the hell knows how they arrived at that or why they can’t see that it’s idiotic, but Don’t let 'em get to third has been the philosophy all year. That tends not to be the practice, but it is the philosophy.

Anyway, if the Astros refuse to score runs, none of it matters.

I’ve gotten tired of yelling at clouds, or televisions, or whatever

Me too, that’s why I moved on to chemtrails.

Framber out after walking in another run. Murray in with the bases loaded, two out
