I’m glad they are giving Walker a night off to reset…hopefully he can and come back strong on Sunday and start a goi run for rest of season.

I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to learn the he’s been battling something physical.
But I doubt there’s enough time to fix it if that is the source of his most recent struggles.
Maybe they should have all the clubhouse calendars set to July.
Maybe. I looked at Baseball Savant today just for shits and grins. One thing that stuck out was bat speed. It down from high 80s the last two years to high 70s this year. That would be a reason for him to consistently be late on fastballs. And there could be an injury that’s leading to that. He did have the oblique stain in ST if
memory serves.
Alright time to get on with the game. I’ve got it taping now and am about 10 mins behind but will catch up. Gotta have good Framber and some two out hitting tonight.
