Oh, I’m totally with you: this team has fatal flaws that cannot be addressed this season. That means that any postseason appearance they make will be brief. Accepting that reduces stress tremendously.
Oh, I am not nearly that negative about this team. I think it is good enough to win the WS. I am frustrated and angry about games like Sunday when they do not do the little things which would win a game. The fatal flaw is Dusty Baker’s trying to manage a game, not so much the team imo.

Sunday’s game made me angry. Last night’s did not. Every team loses games, and often the loss is not pretty. I still think this team is plenty good enough to win it all. We’ll see.

I completely agree. Baker’s close and late-inning decisions are the fatal flaw of this team. Talent wise, they have more than enough to win the World Series. They have the best lineup in the American League when at full strength, play really good defense and Click addressed the back-end of the bullpen by getting Graveman and Yimi Garcia. A rotation of Greinke, McCullers, Valdez and Luis Garcia is good enough to keep them in any game, despite not having a number 1 caliber SP like Verlander.
I tend to agree. Last night you just played like shit and got beat. It happens. What bugs me are the games that are winnable but for a major mental mistake or when the manager fucks it up. I’m mad at not using Graveman to preserve a lead last week. I’m mad at pitching to Perez instead of Santana with the game on the line. Those are the losses that anger me, not getting smacked around for 7 runs.

Agreed in spades. Dusty’s ever-changing lineups are one thing, but his use of the bullpen has lost games.
I’m just ready for this thing to start firing on more than 2 cylinders.
