That’s a big hammy.
There might be 500 people here.
I’m sorry you had to be one of them.
Who’s managing that shop? Dusty Baker?
“C’mon guys, 6 is all we need!!”
So the top reliever in the game tonight was Brooks Raley. Awesome.
Pretty sure he was last night, also.
Bagwell taking pity on Maldonado.
Don’t worry.
I’m sure Castro will get the start against the lefty Minor.
Fitting ending to this shitshow.
Mobil Lube is the name of the freaking shop.
Lube. As in oil. For motors.
Sorry you had to witness that.
Glad it’s so specific. What were they planning on doing until 11:00?
Bagwell made it worthwhile to watch this awful game.
Loved what he said about the DH:
“…It limits the way I can help my team, …I had to swing harder at the plate…”
His love for the game is contagious.
The Royals remind me of the Astros not too long ago, not a contender (yet) but giving contenders fits.
Loses to them hurt, but it’s good to see a non-contending team not playing like a non-contending team - not quitting.
For a moment there, Bagwell shifted from a great player to a broadcaster…
Can’t assume anything! Have had to return the next morning for 2nd oil change (leak
and another time to correct a tire rotation.
I like the shop that has a waiting area for customers w/ a window to watch the work being done to your car. (They removed the seats, so you have to stand to watch.)

Seriously though…the Royals are by far the best team the Astros have faced this year. The Tigers are a distant second.
Fortunately, the Astros won’t be playing them in the postseason. Of course, the way the Astros are sliding right now, they may not be playing anybody in the postseason. They’d better get their shit together when the calendar flips to September.
Misery loves company: the A’s coughed up another late lead (at least we had multiple innings to get used to the idea), and they now find themselves in 3rd place in the wild card race, and only 2 games in front of Seattle. I don’t know if Seattle’s smoke-and-mirrors thing can hold up, but it’ll be interesting to find out.
I do not have any room to be mad any more after Sunday so last night did not faze me at all.
Learned helplessness, brought to you by the Houston Astros.
