As far as opinions go, did you read the article MM posted? It went into great detail with some…not some, many facts. I haven’t seen those disputed. Do you disagree with the articles conclusion or details stated within?
I did read it. It has some interesting points. At this point, I’m not sure what to believe from the media. I feel like the media kind of treats the President just as MLB and the media has treated the Astros lately. In general, I’m not a huge fan of the media. I do watch the news some. However, when I get home from work, my tv goes directly to anything car related, sports or a western.
The sample size is limited on the new site but is no less representative of your constant JimR fawning than at the last site. I didn’t bother to calculate the exact figure, but, excluding your LSU and Trump posts, it is safe to say that you devote roughly 25% of your posts here to affixing your lips to Jim’s ass. Search through your post history if don’t believe the source.
BTW, if anyone wants to ignore this thread, you can mute it at the bottom. It won’t make the thread disappear completely but you won’t get notifications about it and, if you’re using the “Latest” view on the homepage, the thread will not show up there.
You can’t “both sides” this shit. When the Senate rules were laid down for the Clinton trial - rules that brought in all the existing evidence and allowed for new witnesses - it passed 100-0.
What the Republican Party is doing right now is shredding the constitution for purely self-serving political reasons. Individuals over the years may have done this, but now we have one of the parties in a two-party system acting in utter bad faith, in violation of their oaths of office and the public trust.
Amash is the sole elected Republican who acted in good faith and put country above party. So they kicked him out. The rest - in the Senate and the House - have voted in lockstep with the party.
I see your $3 million and raise you the $135 million Jared and Ivanka made last year.
I’m happy for there to be an independent investigation into the potential corruption involving any family member of a Predident, Vice President, Senator or US Representative.
So this would mean looking at Hunter Biden, Don Jr. and Eric Trump, Jared and Ivanka Kushner, Elaine Chao…

It would require people who really want to drain the swamp, rather than just the “drain the swamp” posers who chant it at the rallies.
I guess my question would be how do you get everyone pulling on the same end of the rope? Let’s face it, when all Democrats vote one way and all Republicans vote another way, things aren’t going to get done. Things become purely political and not in the best interests of the country. Not sure how that is fixed other than term limits.
