Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread

Boebert thought she had a “golden” gotcha here. Her sign proclaiming the number of days free from faceplants in committee hearing s remains at zero.

Fun Fact: her husband was convicted of public indecency after he whipped out his junk in front of a some underaged girls at a bowling alley. Lauren knows it happened because she was there.

I wonder if her staff sets her up to look like that or if it is just natural?

It’s entirely natural. She could take a slam-dunk victory and turn it into defeat.

Just for the record, voiding your liquids outside is one of the great joys in life. That said, I do not advocate doing so in full view of others. One should not have to view a live wiener in public, only those of marble statues.

Easier for you to say than me.

I like to conserve water so I go outside approximately 50% of the time when I’m home and have to pee. For the planet.

I love how she repeats her gotcha question three times because her script doesn’t have an option for getting the answer she didn’t expect. Someone needs to overlay the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme to this clip.

Meanwhile, Gym Jordan appears to have given up on this whole “democracy” thing.

DeSantis fucked around with Disney and found out. The outgoing Reedy Creek board signed some new restrictive covenants with Disney before DeSantis’s new law was signed and the new board installed. The new agreement is valid until “21 years after the death of the last survivor of the descendants of King Charles III, King of England”.

I’m no particular fan of Disney, but hahahahahahaha

Sounds like DeSantis walked into a mousetrap.

The courts will invalidate this new restriction in short order. But it will cost the taxpayers of Florida a few million dollars. Desantis will then go on the rampage against Disney even further.

The infamous Q Shaman got 41 months in prison. He has been released.

Capitol rioter known as “QAnon Shaman” released early from federal prison (yahoo.com)

“I am in no way shape or form a dangerous criminal. I am not a violent man. I am not an insurrectionist. I am certainly not a domestic terrorist,” Chansley told the judge. “I am nothing like these criminals that I have been incarcerated with.”

“I swear your honor I was just a tourist! I thought everybody was allowed to go sit in the Speaker’s chair!”

Yeah, he’s nothing like the criminals he’s incarcerated with, he’s worse.

If those are the rules, those are the rules. I trust that he spent his time rehearsing speeches to prospective employers explaining his record. Hell, some will probably see it as a positive.

I’m guessing he’ll be set for life as a speaker and political prop for the wingnuts. He’ll never need a real job.

Absolutely, grab your coonskin hat and hit the psycho circuit. More than likely he’ll eventually make enough money to buy a shirt.

Isn’t that the lunatic that capitol police escorted throughout the capitol and unlocked/opened doors for? Not surprised that he is out considering the royal treatment he got when going through the capitol.

He goes to a halfway house until late May and then he will be allowed home under very strict supervision. I have no ongoing quarrel with any of the Jan 6 rioters who have served their time…as long as they learn their lesson from this.

I suspect many won’t but, if they fuck up again, they’ll be a repeat oh-fender and will be treated as such by the justice system.

Earlier this week, it was a shooting at a Christian school, and now…

So much for “prayers” or “good guys with guns” acting as a deterrent.

No, that’s the lunatic that helped instigate an insurrection against the United States by breaking into the Capitol and disrupting a Constitutional procedure.
