I’ve mentioned this before, but:
Why are you all of the sudden using the word “Obiden”?

Because resident Joe is a puppet.
I believe the gun fetishists call this an auto-erotic second amendment event.
Meanwhile, another shooting in El Paso last night.
Ted Cruz is Johnny on the spot with his thoughts and prayers.
Maybe I’m missing the point, but perhaps not investing in infrastructure for decades wasn’t the smartest idea.
Speaking of the constant flowing of noxious material:
George Santos is now under investigation for immigration fraud over his marriage to a Brazilian woman that lasted just long enough for her to get her citizenship. She is now re-married to a Brazilian man who is working on getting his citizenship.
George Santos’ campaign is also under investigation for having $365,000 of spending for which it cannot account. For context, the next-worst campaign for unaccounted spending is Hakeem Jeffries’ - the House Minority Leader - with $22,000.
The release of excerpts from the report by the Special Grand Jury looking into Trump’s possible interference in the GA election in 2020 is happening today. We will get to see the introduction and conclusion - which should be very interesting - along with an unusual section for such a report on all the witnesses the jurors thought had their pants on fire.

It never occurred to me that Tulsa had a port.
Inland river ports are quite common in places you wouldn’t think of. There’s a port in Idaho.
There’s one in Houston.
True. Of course, Houston is near the coast, and exists because it has a natural deep-water turning basin.
I’m not bragging or anything, but I grew up in a country that is covered from head to toe in rail lines. I took one every day for school/work for 18 years. I can remember ones of times when one fell off the tracks despite traveling significantly faster.

He was enjoying the benefits of low-speed rail, inland ports and bicycle-less traffic here in Houston for the more recent ones.
So there were 2 derailments in 2021 and none in 2022. The US has had three derailments this week of trains carrying hazardous cargo.
According to the article, the average is 1,704 derailments per year. That’s more than 4 a day.
Not to brag, but the US is also A LOT bigger than the UK. The US has over ten times more rail line. And more idiots.

10 times more rail lines and 800 times more derailments.
