Well, you know that the response will be that whatever it is was activated yesterday. Doesn’t mean its effect is immediate. Just you wait, when people start dying in their 80s and 90s, maybe you’ll finally see the light.
Meanwhile, I got shingles #2 today. I’m hoping to be rewarded with an Astros victory.
Based on warnings from other friends, as well as my dismal response to Covid shots, I expected shingles #1 to treat me poorly. But it didn’t: I had much less trouble with that than with any of the Covid shots. So I’m hopeful #2 won’t be too bad, either.
Yes, the new vaccine is a two-dose regimen. I’m not sure when it became the standard, but if you had the old one-dose vaccine, it’s recommended that you go ahead and get the new one anyway.
Just watched the full episode, which is excellent. The interview with Rutledge is longer…and far more painful than the short version put out on social media. She stops stepping on rakes, only to get a common child’s paddling pool, fill it with liquid dog shit, climb to a high gantry and ungracefully bellyflop into it.
Stewart nailed her on that too. After she had so comprehensively face-planted on “facts”, she tried to go on offense by claiming that they don’t want to experiment on children. Stewart pointed out that by denying children the care that medical science believes is efficacious (and perhaps life-saving), she is the one doing the experimenting. She is forcing kids to find out what it’s like to live without treatment, based on no medical science whatsoever.
Carroll has said that she will never settle, so this is eventually going to trial and Trump’s most likely incoherent and self-incriminating deposition will be fully admissible.
This is a civil suit, so pleading the 5th is as good as an admission.
