Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread

Also, Trump does not know who he can trust, which is why he’s pushing to hard to get the search warrant affidavit unsealed.

FWIW, Mary Trump and Michael Cohen think it’s Jared.

You know, I’ve never understood why the MAGA crowd hasn’t gone after Jared, a Jewish guy whose premier real estate holding is at 666 Fifth Ave, for crying out loud, and propped up by Saudi money. Believing it’s the devil’s residence is no more insane than believing that babies are eaten in the basement of some pizza place.

The judge declined to unseal the entire affidavit, but he did allow the release of certain pages. including the cover page, which doesn’t help TFG’s PR effort.

ETA: Vis a vis Trump’s lawyer deficit, no one his behalf took part in any of the proceedings regarding the unsealing (or not). Apparently, his lawyer(s) sat in the gallery and watched.

Rudi clearly is worried that he hasn’t been subpoenaed in a while…

At Big Oil, we get sued daily. I always have a dozen or so preservation orders in place on files, emails, what have you. I don’t think storing them in the trunk of my car would be considered appropriate. I would guess US nuclear secrets would require at least the same level of security as documents related to Rancher X’s gripe about his land lease.

Trump has argued that they were secure because he had an additional lock put on the door. Ignoring the rank stupidity of this claim, what was the security clearance of the locksmith who installed the lock? Top Secret or better would be required.

This guy got suspended by Twitter. The GOP is not sending its best.

Putting aside the lunacy of the content, why is he quoting himself quoting himself?

The ranking Republican on the Judiciary committee loses in front of an umpteenth judge.

Presumably, he’s now rehearsing the line “on advice of counsel blah, blah, blah”.

Nice country you have there…

The right keeps trying to move on from Trump, but the cult won’t let them.

Circuit Appeals Court sides with Graham…squashes his subpoena for now. They seem to agree he has Congressional immunity from a subpoena. The two judges who aligned with Graham are, of course, Trump appointees.

The district judge involved was appointed by Obama; the dissenting appellate judge by Clinton. The district attorney issuing the subpoena is a Democrat. It’s beginning to look like politics have invaded the courts.

So, it’s partisan to ask a Senator to testify in a criminal trial about something outside his legislative duties?

It’s highly partisan to attempt to hold Republicans accountable for their crimes.

Next time someone bitches at you about “Biden’s” inflation, let them know how things are going in a country run entirely by hard-right conservatives.
