Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread

Please believe me when I tell you that I am a nice guy having a bad day. I just found out the Times is publishing a poll that says that a considerable portion of Americans feel that the White House has lost energy and focus. A perception that is not likely to be altered by the video footage of the President riding his bicycle into a tree. As we speak, the Coast Guard are fishing Cubans out of the Atlantic Ocean, while the governor of Florida wants to blockade the port of Miami. A good friend of mine is about to get fired for going on television and making sense. And it turns out that I accidentally slept with a prostitute last night.

One of these things is not like the other?

A blue lives matter patriot just got over 5 years in jail for attacking police on Jan 6.

Hard to believe you are now worried about the police.

I can’t read the article (paywall) but I like the headline.

This, I can believe.

Yabba dabba dooo

“We would just be sending in ‘fake’ electoral votes to Pence so that ‘someone’ in Congress can make an objection when they start counting votes, and start arguing that the ‘fake’ votes should be counted,” Jack Wilenchik, a Phoenix-based lawyer who helped organize the pro-Trump electors in Arizona, wrote in a Dec. 8, 2020, email to Boris Epshteyn, a strategic adviser for the Trump campaign.

In a follow-up email, Mr. Wilenchik wrote that “‘alternative’ votes is probably a better term than ‘fake’ votes,” adding a smiley face emoji.

The fact that this collection of low-rate mooks can act with impunity is so galling.

There are more smoking guns lying around than at the Battle of the Somme. Thankfully, it seems that Garland has decided to take a look at some of them.

Carol Leonnig (lead journalist on the WaPo article) on O’Donnell said that the questioning of Marc Short and other Pence aides was “dominated” by questions about what Trump was saying and doing.

She also said that the DOJ is in possession of phone records of the likes of Mark Meadows.:popcorn::popcorn:

You had better get more popcorn than that if you are waiting for Trump to be prosecuted and punished by that kangaroo court.

Rounding up the homeless and putting them in camps. Where have we heard that before?

No, hear me out. Make those federally ordered guardsmen wear a different color of shirt so everyone knows who they are. Say, brown.

Poor Limey lives to post about Trump. You really should find a different hobby. I don’t think I’ve seen you post one Astros related topic in at least 7 years. You have exactly 1/3 of 11,037 posts in this thread.

The “ignore” button works both ways, if it bothers you.

That’s a great point. Limey averages 4 posts per day about Trump since 2019. He thinks about Trump constantly. It’s quite an obsession.

This was a banner week.

Only 3 more posts needed before the day is up to keep up with your daily Trump post average.

They keep trying to make the week before look good. They are succeeding.

Is it infrastructure week again?
