This is just basic procedure: respond when you get a subpoena; otherwise, the system breaks down. All of us commoners are expected to, that motherfucker should also.
Some people are just particularly entitled.
Thatās the thing, I mean, this is a Trump appointed judge, but Bannon and team have obviously managed to irrititate him thoroughly, but more importantly, even a Trump judge must be able to see what will become of congressā investigatory responsibilities if people can simply respond to subpoenas with a hearty GFY.

Heās a Trump nominee, but I imagine that he holds more loyalty to the power of the courts - and that of himself - than he does to the power of a former chief executive.
Bannon walked up to microphones on the courthouse steps, pulled his dick out and pissed all over the guilty verdict. I expect a couple of books to be thrown at him. A hefty fine and some jail time.

This is why you donāt worry about the 25-35% of the electorate that remains with Trump at this point. The rest of us have to move forward without them while guarding against the inevitable violence this will bring. Because, make no mistake, at this point the violence is inevitable, regardless of what happens.
