On Cipollone, he won’t be able to claim any kind of privilege regarding his “all the crimes” comment, because it involves, you know, crimes. He can claim not to remember, of course, but that would be about as credible as Perjury Taylor Green’s testimony.

The BBC political comedy “The Thick of It” - in the vein of “Veep” - was similarly known for its creative profanity. So this made me laugh when I saw it.

The show is perhaps most widely known for coining the phrase “omnishambles”, which became famous when it was repurposed for Mitt Romney’s pre-election visit to the UK, which was intended to bolster his foreign policy standing, but during which he dick-stomped his way around the country committing faux pas galore and blurting out state secrets at press conferences. #RomneyShambles

Awesome!

I appreciate rants, even if many of the references and idioms are unfamiliar. “Flag shagger” was a good one that I’ve never heard before.

I thought “useless, posh, sliver of bullock skin” was quote profound.

Anyone else shocked that the IRS under Trump gave “whole fist” style audits to the two FBI Directors - Comey and McCabe - fired by Trump?

What the heck is a wank-flannel?

Does it matter?

“A Shakespearian tragedy written by monkeys on typewriters…” is something I’m going to use in the future.

The insurrection is going to be televised. A second documentary team was following Stone around.:rofl::rofl:

An amusing aside to this is that Trump assumes everyone is a grifter and that an audit will therefore hurt them enormously. Not so. I’m sure it was a pain emotionally and irritating as fuck, but it didn’t hurt them financially cause they’re not fucking crooks.

Justice Boof Kavanaugh was “forced” to leave Morton’s steakhouse by the back door last night as a crowd had gathered outside the front protesting his decision on Roe vs. Wade. He had to leave before dessert, so his meal was terminated before the third trimester.

I for one hope he never gets to have a meal in peace in public again. After all, he’s a big proponent of people having a lifetime of living with consequences.

One of them got a refund; the audit having shown him to have overpaid.

Meanwhile, in Georgia, Herschel Walker’s campaign staff are starting to realize that he may not be mentally fit for office.

He spouts falsehoods “like he’s breathing,” this adviser said—so much so that his own campaign stopped believing him long ago.
…

“A campaign’s worst nightmare,” the source said. “It’s like a shitshow on a train in the middle of a wreck.”

So four different children by four different moms? Do I have that right?
