So sorry but for some reason mine only goes up to 74° in the daytime and 70° at night.
Mine is set to 78 and I’ve been thinking about raising it to 80. And I live in the muffukkin desert. Y’all some lily livered primadonnas is what y’all are, Ford F950 driving keep the AC at 72 $1500 electricity bill having weirdos. Buy some fans, nex, throw some of that Sonic ice that you guys inexplicably buy in the pool and jump in.
But it’s a dry heat.
Man, that’s great. I wish I liked being uncomfortable too. I could save $35 or $40 bucks a month.
78 for me too. I am not uncomfortable either.
Hey now.
I drive a Hyundai.
I am important! I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS!!
That’ll be the high here late next week. I’ll probably have to open a window.
I drive …maybe once a week.
Napa Valley is 90’s to low 100’s all weekend long.
U can alway switch to raisins. Sez the guy that lived in the Central Valley for 5 years.
Ha!! Interestingly, the raisin market is a shadow of what it used to be and really only exists because of subsidies from USDA.
This heat event, while uncomfortable if you don’t have a pool, may be a good thing. It’s been an unusually cool year and we’re several weeks behind in the growing season. The temps should should give everything a but of a kick and also help reduce disease pressure - e.g. powdery mildew.
It’s like a Master’s Class in viniculture.
For that, you’ll need to chat with Kara who grows grapes for a living. I’m just an amateur.
Next will be vidiculture followed of course by viciculture.
I came, I saw, I drank.
Motto of the round table.
Viticulture is the study and process of growing grapes, while viniculture is specific to wine grapes.
To MM’s point, I’ve been trying my damndest to make that a reality.
