Immaculate Grid - Spoilers & Boasts

Conger, Fowler, Fisher

(9/9, 93)

9/9 with 110 rarity score. If only I’d had the balls to take Percival instead of KRod. If someone else did have the balls to take him let me know the percentage so I know if I’d of beat my personal best if I had.

Went Stassi, Jerry Mumphrey & Mancini (1% on 6/9) for Astros line.

Fisher was good. Was trying to think of a more obscure player from ‘17 team but nothing popped into my head.

Percival was expensive: 33% right now. That hurt, but not as much as going with Pujols (49%), whom I used because I was tired of thinking about Angels.

Thanks. Lower than KRod (45%) but not low enough to have helped me get to my lowest score. Thanks again for posting.

This is one of my beefs with the game. Shouldn’t anyone who played for the Astros in 2017 count? Is it only the guys who were on the WS roster? Why? Why doesn’t Jordan Jankowski count?

I’m glad Mike Fiers doesn’t count.

Never heard of him.

The Spack McGrimm motto.

From the rules (can’t find a way to link directly but it’s the little question mark link at the top of the grid page):

  • World Series winners must have appeared in a postseason game (or be on the World Series roster) for the team during the World Series-winning season to qualify.

That seems unfair to Nori Aoki.

My streak is over, 3 immaculate. They asked for a 20 game winner from the worst pitching franchise in baseball history(outside of the Rockies). I had two names in my head, one was right and the other was wrong, I chose poorly.

For as the true answer will grant an immaculate grid, the false answer will take it from you.

Ditto, aside from the part about having a streak to lose in the first place.

I remembered Aaron Sele and Rick Helling in the late 90s, one had 19 wins, the other 20. I guessed the wrong one. 8/9

I have no recollection whatsoever of Kevin Brown pitching for the Rangers.

And shame on Denny McClain getting only 12%

I could have sworn Kenny Rogers won 20 games.
