Idiot-Shaming

I’m guessing (hoping) the guns weren’t loaded.

I’m guessing these folks don’t keep unloaded guns around the house because “if you have to use it you don’t have time to load.”

I mean, the pink polo commando didn’t even have time to put shoes on.

St Louis morans.

Once again Sacha proves the old adage: Act like a dumbass and they will treat you like an equal.

If the narrative doesn’t match the agenda, do not mention that the victims are black. That child didn’t deserve to die, either. The proud and honorable citizens of CHOP have turned their homeland into the most dangerous autonomous zone in the USA

Some info about the shooters, if there is any, would be helpful. I will withhold moral indignation until them.

I agree Jim. It would be most helpful it the “citizens” of CHOP would cooperate with the investigation but so far they haven’t. But there is a mother mourning the death of her child.

Cornyn submitted a bill to make Juneteenth a federal holiday, and GOP senators Johnson (WI) and Lankford (OK) submitted an amendment that it would replace Columbus Day. That’s astonishing.

Johnson and Lankford are just piggyback posturing. I’d prefer that a federal Junteenth holiday not replace anything, that it stand alone. If they do away with Columbus Day, that should be a separate action. Otherwise it looks like they’re just swapping names, it might accomplish the same thing but not in the same spirit.

What other pork has been, or will be, attached to that bill before it passes?

Who knows. If we wanted to be cynical we can say attaching the Columbus Day deletion might make it more unpalatable. Or we can say this is a move designed to make it harder to make election day a federal holiday.

But it’s the type of thing that on its face if you told me in early March 2020 would happen I would think you were insane.

If it was a Hiuse Bill, Republicans would’ve attached to it a repeal of Obamacare and something about Benghazi or Hunter Biden.

Florida adds its unique spin:

What a loon.

I’m not now and never have been military, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone in uniform in that leaning forward pose of his at the link. You’d think that would’ve been a red flag.

Honestly? I’m surprised that anything he did registers as a crime in Florida.

He sounds like a character from the Serge Storms books.

The transcripts - from the body cams on the officers charged with the murder of George Floyd - were released yesterday. They are disturbing and disgusting.

Floyd, of course, was obsequiously polite the entire time, pleading not to get shot and pleading not to go to jail because he was terrified that he’ll die (it is believed that he feared re-contracting and dying from COVID-19 from which he was shown to have recovered about 6-weeks prior to his murder).

The defendants, on the other hand - once they got past their Hollywoodesque “freeze motherfucker!” pat lines - were all casual and dismissive. I emphasize “all”, because none of them expressed any concern for Floyd or any doubt about what they were doing. All of them were quoted as telling Floyd different versions of “STFU”.

It’s pretty clear why they charged them all with Floyd’s murder.

Today, “Black Lives Matter” was painted in giant yellow letters on 5th Ave in front of Trump Tower. It’s oriented towards the building and written in all caps so Trump can read it.
