Used, old, putrid cooking oil is the feedstock.
The plant has a unique gag odor as can be imagined

Brazoswood had a pretty tallented starting in the 80s and 90s. Coach Poland?
Have no idea who coached there. Brazoswood became a power, and it would have been a good job, but I wanted to go back to Brenham to prove something to the “experts” in town who thought being third place in the state was not good enough. I had a good pitcher and two infield starters coming back from the state tournament team, but everyone else was going to be new. That was summer of 1969, and 1970 was Brazoswood’s first baseball season.

That looks like it has potential to be Harvey all over again. Not in terms of wind strength but in speed, potential track, and rainfall.
Doesn’t look like it’s going to sit for several days, like Harvey, nor produce as much rain. But it’s definitely going to be a rainy week along the coast.
It is starting to get better organized and is intensifying, so who knows.

3-5’. The storm is pretty disorganized vertically with the low and mid-level centers displaced by 20mi and looks to stay that way through landfall. This will preclude really significant surge issues.

There’s a 140mi 2SD error norm this many days out. The whole north Gulf Coast should be watching this carefully.
