I love the Cards park.
During the 1990’s I was between jobs, in SL on the way to Chicago. (First time to visit either city.)
After cashing in the Cards tickets that were part of a conference I attended, I watched the first 5 innings of the Astros game in my hotel room before getting some air.
Started walking to the park, listening to the game - wanted to be near the action.
(Haven’t seen many live Astros games.)
Was spooked, then delighted. as the gates opened at the 7th inning stretch!!!
Got to see the 'Stros win.
Did the same thing the next night & so did the 'Stros, they won again!!
Free baseball.
Two very good nights!
