just it over…whatever it is

Not so much for me…I fear our sentencing will be it, with the MLB considering the matter closed minus maybe a slap on the wrist for the BoSox. If this is the case and no other investigations are opened on other teams given the information they have acquired during their investigation of the Astros, then I will be angered for some time.

I’ll go further than that. This is a travesty, and NYY appears immune.

I suspect MLB was hoping to make an example of the Astros as a deterrent, knowing full well that it’s a widespread issue, and the Boston “news” put a wrench in that plan.

I sincerely hope Rosenthal has a NYY story in the can waiting for the right moment. LAD too for that matter.

Agreed. That would make MLB think twice about throwing the book at us. I just hope if there is any other dirt out there on other teams that it gets dug up quickly so MLB can take into consideration before handing out our punishment.

So your saying it might not be in the leagues best interest to hand out 1 years suspensions to every teams front office & manger’s staff…

If all teams lose their 1st round draft pick that just makes the 2nd round the 1st again…doh!

You forgot Milwaukee

Think he was just talking post-NL.

I am trying to forget about Milwaukee. Also the Joe West homer call…thanks for prompting that deep dark part of my brain.

I don’t think I’ll ever get over that call.

There are worse ones for me, not necessarily the Astros, but other Houston teams. A lot of pain deep in my cranium.

A part of me died.

Rage. So much unbridled rage. I could have committed murder that night and not felt the slightest twinge of regret.

shhhh! They are watching.

Let them.

I’d tell Joe West to his fucking fat, wattled face that he’s an incompetent windbag and a terrible fucking umpire. What’s he doing to do, fall on me?

Astros have traded Cal Stevenson and Peyton Battenfield to the Rays for right handed pitcher Austin Pruitt. Pruitt has appeared in 67 games for the Rays over the last 3 seasons with 10 of those being starts. Over that span he was 12-8 with a 4.87 ERA.

Astros have also DFA’d Dean Deetz in an apparent move to make room for Pruitt on the roster.
