“Loki” just went HAM in episode 4
I will never be able to see Offerman as anything other than Ron Swanson. He’s a man after my own heart…has a thing for pretty, dark-haired women and breakfast food.
And Willie Nelson and dark liquor…
I’m still struggling to erase the image of him waving his junk around in Deadwood.
Ron Swanson is one of the best characters to ever appear on tv.

I’m watching “The Hunt for the Zodiak Killer” on Amazon Prime. Interesting stuff (if you like that sort of thing), especially as they put an AI super computer on the job of breaking his codes as well as cold case investigators on the ground.
What’s annoying is that: (1) 50 years later and Riverside PD are still withholding the evidence from the one killing in their jurisdiction, and (b) the show is produced like it’s an season of Top Chef.
They’re trying to make it look like a fly-on-the-wall documentary of the investigation in real time, but the guys supposedly feeding the data into the super-computer never change outfits while the guys giving them that information are traveling the length and breadth of California.
It’s so annoying it’s had me wobble on continuing a couple of times. Especially when they spend half an episode on a red herring you can see from space. But the real shit seems to be real shit, so it keeps you engaged.

Finally got on the Ted Lasso train and so glad I did. That show just wins you over in the same way Ted does.

I rattled through the whole fucking thing again yesterday. It stands up very well to repeat viewings, because it has so many layers that you miss when you’re laughing.
Ok, I’m near the end of the Zodiac thing, and it’s becoming more and more obvious that they got the identity from DNA, and everything else is just backfill from that, and they’re trying to pass it off as being the other way around.
Fuck these people!
