Or the coveted Robert Ludwig master of Zep II
REO!!!
ETA: Except not. Sorry, got carried away.
He wasn’t wrong.
This might be the best comment in this whole thread.
Well done, Lefty!
Better movie: Singles or Almost Famous?
Better soundtrack?
Almost Famous in a landslide. For both. Though I have to give props to Singles for one of my all-time favorite headphone songs: May This Be Love.
The Spiderverse is boring - 3.5 stars.
Almost Famous is the much better movie (though I love Matt Dillon in Singles, and Bridget Fonda in anything), soundtrack is debatable
I have a happy spot for Singles because I am a young man, and was ~18 years old in 1993
High Fidelity is a jam! 5 stars! #97 in best movies ever!
Almost Famous: 5 star movie and the soundtrack is cool too.
You wanna know what’s cool about Almost Famous?
Fuckin everything, man.
I love Billy Crudup’s character in The Morning Show, but I didn’t realize until recently that he was the front man for the band in Almost Famous.
I AM A GOLDEN GOD
Yeah…or maybe not
hmmm…yeah, sure, ok, yeah…“I’m on drugs!”
That was a great smash cut.
“How do I know when it’s kicked in?”
…and the chicks are great.
I watched “Everybody Want Some” again for the 2nd time recently, the semi-sequel to Dazed and Confused.
It was good, very college-baseball 80’s centric. Soundtrack was killer yet again.
Great movie.
The Commitments is better than both.
The Commitments is simply fantastic.
