Not sure it’s good for your confidence to pop a 3-inch boner either, but you work with what you have.
It was 7.62cm erection, to be fair.
Am I alone in being less interested the more the trailers reveal?
The teasers pointed to a character-driven piece and this last trailer points towards a CGI schlockfest.
If Denis Villneuve is indeed involved, I may excited about the Bond franchise again.
So Chalamet is the new Bond?
Gaib. Lisan al Gaib.
Either him or that Gosling fella.
I hate to help pay for Bezos’ $56 million wedding, but Amazon Prime has “Manhunter” on the service currently. Made by a post-“Miami Vice”, pre-“Heat” Michael Mann, it is tense as fuck and oozes style from every frame.
It was later re-made as “Red Dragon” with a cast stacked to the gills with A-List talent, which nevertheless didn’t measure up. The re-make was post-“Silence of the Lambs”, and they ham-fistedly jammed in a bunch more Hannibal that wasn’t in the original or the book.
Even if you saw the re-make, do yourself a favor and catch “Manhunter” before it’s gone (and Bezos’ credit card bill shows up).
Brian Cox was a under appreciated Hannibal.
“oozes style” is a great way to describe it, or almost any Mann movie
A feature-length version of “The Stand” is a terrible, terrible idea.
Pro-Tip: instead of spending $15 on Amazon Prime, I spent $20 on the “Manhunter” Blu Ray (inc. shipping).
If they did 2, like IT, it might work
I doubt it. The miniseries in the 90s barely had enough time for enough story.
(We do not speak of the 2020 miniseries)
This is the equivalent of Hummel waiting for a called 3rd strike.
Yeah, the most recent version really should have been a 10-hour series on HBO
I finally got to see Sinners today. Pretty enjoyable and well made vampire flick. Great soundtrack too.
I just watched the “Project Hail Mary” trailer…and now I don’t need to watch the movie.
The movie looks good - and has a good pedigree - but avoid the trailer like the plague if you want to have a chance of seeing the movie spoiler free.
I could not disagree more about your take on the spoilers.
ETA: there’s very little in there that’s not on the book jacket or the Amazon description
Good to know and good to hear. I haven’t read the book (or its jacket) so it seems to my uninformed eyes that there were huge giveaways in the trailer.
