Carlos Correa was hit on the hand with a pitch today, X-ray reveals a possible broken finger.
Looks like this type of break heals in a few weeks without surgery.
Guy seems snakebit with little injuries.
Crane looks like the janitor with those keys hanging out of his pocket.
Maybe he got a promotion.
I read the finger is broken. The way they are dealing with it seems strange.
The x-ray last week showed it might be broken. A subsequent CT scan revealed no break.
Ok, I only read the first report, and it was more definite than “may be.” I did not see the second one.
Yeah, last word was no break. Will probably be back in the lineup “this week” but they said there was going to be no rush to get him back in the order just to play against the Astros.
The Twins have called up former number one pick Royce Lewis with Correa day-to-day. He’s looked real good early so with he and Peña, two very good looking young shortstops on the field the next 3 games.
Carlos better hope the rookie doesn’t Wally Pipp him or that opt-out will look a lot less appealing.
I’m up in MN right now and plan to be at Thursday’s getaway game.

You can negotiate Correa’s return while you are there.
Correa to SS and Pena to 1B after Yuli leaves?
Peña is wasted at 1B.
Not gonna happen, but Correa to 3B, Bregman to 1st?
How about Correa to another team that can go bankrupt paying him while we keep Peña at SS?
