Nah, I am not smart enough to use references.
I just watched Springerâs first AB for the Blue Jays. Flied out to right. Very weird seeing him in that uniform. They have him DHing tonight.
Springer hit his first Jays HR Off of Charlie Morton
Springer has hit two tonight. Ho hum.
Per Twitter, former bus rider Jacob Nottingham was just traded to Milwaukee for cash.
Quite the journey:
Gone, but Nott forgotten! Catcher @JacobNottingham, who was designated for assignment by the #Brewers on April 22 and claimed by the Mariners on April 28, has been re-acquired from Seattle in exchange for cash. Nottingham is in the lineup today against the Dodgers. pic.twitter.com/8W03AFziYu

Wow!
What a return!
Revenge of the Retread.
After playing in just 4 games, Springer returns to the DL with that quad sprain.
They gave him a green light 2x on 3-0 pitchesâŚ
PS: After seeing Dusty give Tucker the green light Sunday on a 3-0 pitch that he pounded, I realize that in both Tucker and Springer were given an opportunity to break out of a slump or make a fresh start.
Thankfully both took full advantage.
So the Phillies assigned him to AA Reading and he made his first appearance in a game tonight since 2017. The results were messy at best: 2.2 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 HBP, 2 BB, 4 K.
That doesnât strike me as a bad outing considering the time missed.
My thought also.
MLB - Marisnick was placed on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to Monday) - right hamstring strain - sustained the injury while chasing down a fly ball in the first inning of Sundayâs 6-5 loss to the Pirates at Wrigley Field.
Jake has an OPS of .900+ so far this season. Wow.
WowâŚbiggest piece of the Verlander trade correct? And the catcher that hasnât exactly set the world on fire either if memory serves.
Daz Cameron was the third player. Heâs in AAA after making his major league debut for the Tigers last year.
