I remember, years and years ago on AC, there was a poster who worked for one and would go to great lengths to explain how they are necessary and beneficial to consumers.

This lady is definitely nuts. But she’s also a former Air Force technician and does things like shoehorn a Tundra V8 engine into a 1970s Celica sedan, so she knows her technical shit.
What is her accent? At times she sounds almost American, then she’ll talk about “aluminium”, then she’ll put the emphasis on the wrong syllable (mo-TOR, but-TON), and sometimes she’ll do that British “t” thing.
