That’s the really unforgivable part. Fucking run, dude.

Runners at 1st and 3rd, 2 outs. Batter hits a chopper to a shifted Bregman, who has no play on anybody. But Hernandez slides over 2nd and Bregman tags him before the runner on 3rd finishes his leisurely stroll home, so no run scores.

Lux hits slow roller toward short, Bregman cuts in front, gets it, but has no play…or so it looks. Somehow Hernandez over runs 2nd and Bregman is able to tag him out.

Initially ruled that runner from 3rd (Vargas, who had singled to start the inning) had crossed the plate before the tag. Upon review, clear that his foot was above the plate when the tag happened.

No run for the Dodgers

1st and 3rd, 2 out. Grounder to the left of Bregman, no play to be made at any base, momentum carries him to the bag at 2nd. Runner from 1st rounds 2nd and falls, and Bregman tags him for the third out. Kike forgot to run from third and review showed that the tag was made just before he touched the plate.

Blue Jays walk it off against the stRange 6-5.

All true. But let’s not forget there was absolutely no reason for Hernandez to be cutting barrel rolls off second base. Even Bregman gave him a weird look when he tagged him out.

And the chef’s kiss is that if Hernandez had held the bag Ohtani would have come up as the tying run. Instead he’s leading off the 8th.

Also should be mentioned that Ohtani was on deck, which makes it that much better

The way he lollygagged his way home, he sure didn’t look like he was ready for a jailbreak.

Ohtani is a remarkable package of skills.
