Man, I fuckin’ hate the Dodgers so much.

After Ohtani got his obligatory hit, the rest of the Dodgers go in order.

Framber strands Ohtani at 3B after his chickenshit leadoff 2B: swinging K, lineout to RF (runner advanced), groundout to 3B

I always liked Teoscar, but fuck the Dodgers.

Altuve popout to shallow RF, Bregman FB to RF, Yordan dribbler to P, 8 pitches for Stone.

End 1, 0-0

That was a nice play by Stone. No way Framber makes that play.

Loperfido almost misjudges a FB, makes the catch
Kike Hernandez takes Chas back to the warning track in RF, hops up a little for the catch well short of the wall
Cavan Biggio slow grounder up the middle, easy play for Pena

As shitty as Cavan Biggio has been, he still has a higher OPS than Bo Bichette.

Lorenzen on that list of potential trade targets that Apple displayed. There’s no fucking way the Rangers are trading with the Astros. He was available for a long time, signing with the Rangers on March 22. We could have gotten him before then.

Didn’t they get Guerrero, Bichette and Biggio all in the same draft?

Not sure but they came up to the Blue Jays the same year.

LF for the Dodgers, Vargas, looks like Thin Lizzy’s Phil Lynot

Nice at bat for Jake

Yainer with a nice 2 strike swing, takes an inside pitch the other way for a leadoff single
Pena beats out the 5-4-3 GIDP, Yainer out at 2B. Pena hit it pretty hard
Singleton hits a tall fly ball about 10 feet short of the wall in LF, 2 down
Meyers works it full…takes a semi-close pitch for the BB, Pena to 2B
Loperfido 3-1, lines a single to L/LCF, Pena scores easily! Runners at 1st and 2nd.
Chas…carved up for the 4-pitch K

Stros up 1-0 after 2

Not a good route but Joey makes the play.

That was an incredible play

Dodgers go F9, 3 pitch K…
Ohtani lines one to the gap in LCF, Loperfido takes a weirdass route to it, dives and makes a great catch (“don’t ever do it again”) over his shoulder
